Hello! My name is Anjay Singla, I am an Indian Italian and a junior at River Hill High School. I am a very tech oriented person and always enjoy a digital challenge. Over the years, I have always been interested in computers and mechanical things, from taking apart phones in 3rd grade to building an 8-bit computer from the ground up in 9th. This is why when we had to make a project that communicated our research to a non-academic audience for English 121, I chose a website!

Yes! This blog, while it does represent things that I believe, is a project for English 121. The aim of this is to be a blog written from the perspective of a parent or other caregiver and to communicate to a targeted audience (i.e. other parents/caregiver or those who regularly cook for a group of people) things about how cooking in media like TV influence gender norms and roles and all the things around that based on previous research I have done. Consequently, however, the recipes have not been created by me, but are presented in such a way that might be interpreted as such. All proper sources and references will be correctly cited at the bottom of their respective pages to give proper credit to those who create.
